Opening! italiano: Bottega Meta Text è un foglio destinato a ospitare notizie sulle mie produzioni musicali e non, articoli, immagini, racconti. Non sarà periodico, ma l’intenzione è quella di pubblicare almeno un foglio al mese. Le uscite potrebbero essere di più. Ok, perché non pubblicare un blog? Ci ho già provato, non fa per me. Bottega Meta Text avrà una impostazione diversa da quella di un blog. Ho scelto il formato Pdf perché volevo un prodotto stampabile, con un layout modificabile di volta in volta, a seconda dei contenuti. Volevo recuperare il piacere dell’impaginazione, tipografica. Bottega Meta Text sarà in lingua italiana a volte, in lingua inglese altre, bilingue quando mi sentirò in vena. Nello stesso numero potranno esserci testi bilingue o monolingua. Meta text perché è una sorta di commento, una scrittura a proposito della mia scrittura musicale e creativa. Il contenuto sarà variabile, incostante. Una persona che propone la sua creatività al mondo dovrebbe essere in grado di stupire. The releases could be more. Ok, why not publish a blog? I've already tried, not for me. Bottega Meta Text will have a setting different from a blog. I chose the Pdf format because I wanted it printable, with a different layout depending on the content. Bottega Meta Text will be in Italian sometimes, in English others, bilingual when I am in the mood. In the same issue can be monolingual or bilingual texts. Meta text because is a sort of comment, a writing about musical and creative writing. The content will be variable, inconstant. A person who offers his creativity to the world should be able to amaze. I'll try. Work in progress italiano: Black sheep electro music. Il nuovo album sarà intitolato così. Ci sto lavorando dallo scorso ottobre e prevedo l’uscita per l’ottobre prossimo. Dopo essere rimasto fermo per due anni su Disco naïf, sentivo il bisogno di realizzare un progetto ambizioso. È un lavoro al quale sto dedicando molte energie. Sarà interamente realizzato con sintetizzatori softwares autoprodotti. Sto utilizzando gli stessi programmi scaricabili dalla sezione softwares del mio sito. Sarà accompagnato da una versione CD con supporto cartaceo, anche’esso autoprodotto e, probabilmente, da un libricino contenente un racconto basato sullo stesso tema dell’album. Il tutto sarà presentato in una o più serate dal vivo, insieme ad alcuni attori. Si tratta di una sorta di concept album, in buona parte dedicato al tema delle danze macabre. Non sarà un album spensierato come Disco naïf, ma non ho neanche abbandonato del tutto la mia vena pop. Tuttavia saranno molto più forti i riferimenti alla canzone d’autore. Dedicherò diversi articoli di Bottega Meta Text agli stessi temi trattati nell’album. Un progetto piuttosto impegnativo per un autore indipendente. Il fatto è che in questi due anni ho accumulato uno scatolone di idee e troppa voglia di fare. english: Black Sheep electro music. The new album will be titled so. I'm working on since last October and I expect the release for October 2010. After being stalled for two years on Disco naïf, I needed to implement an ambitious project. I'm burning a lot of energy on it. First of all, it is made entirely with self-produced software synthetizers. I'm using the same tools downloadable from the ‘softwares’ section of my website. It will be accompanied by a paper-packaged CD and probably by a booklet containing a story based on the same theme of the album. Everything will be presented in one or more live sets, along with some theatral players. It is a sort of concept album, largely based on the theme of the dance of death. It will not be an album as carefree as Disco naïf, but I haven't discarded the pop mood. However there will be much references about songwriting. I will publish on Bottega Meta Text several texts about the same themes of the album. Such an hard project. In these two years I have accumulated a box of ideas and want to do too much.
